Current Situation
On December 31st, 2021 at 2:50 PM, The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to an off-road vehicle accident in the 11300 Block of Bentley St. The incident occurred in the La Sierra/Norco Hills. There were three occupants in an off-road vehicle. The vehicle rolled down a hill into a canyon. One patient in moderate condition was hoisted from the location with Riverside County Sheriff Star 9 and transported to Riverside Community hospital with moderate injuries. Two remaining occupants were deceased and have been packaged for extraction. The fire department is working in conjunction with the Riverside Police Department, Riverside County Coroner, and Riverside County Sherriff to extract the deceased.
