    Current Situation

    The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported Vegetation Fire around the old Boy Scout Camp.  Upon arriving on scene Battalion1 reported a 1/4 -1/2 acre in heavy fuels.  The crews on scene were able to stop the forward progress of the fire in approximately 20 Minutes.  Crews remained on scene for an additional 60 minutes to ensure full extinguishment.   An investigator was assigned to the fire and found the fire to be human caused, most likely from a homeless individual who was cooking in the area of the origin.  There were no civilian nor Fire Fighter injuries reported.
