Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department is currently working a structure fire at the 3600 Block of Buchanan Ave at the Village Riverside Mobile Home Park. Upon arrival fire crews noted one double-wide mobile home fully involved in fire. The residents had evacuated the residence without injury. Additional fire units were dispatched to assist with the fire and any exposures in the area. The fire was brought under control in about 30 minutes but the mobile home was a complete loss. 2 residents have been displaced as a result of the fire but no injuries to residents or firefighters have been noted. An investigation is ongoing as to the cause and origin of the fire.
