Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to structure fire at the K & N Engineering facility on Citrus Street. On arrival the first unit reported a fire in the manufacturing area of the building and requested a second alarm. Once inside the first crew observed flame lengths extending to the roof and spreading laterally toward the two story storage area. The fire was kept in check and confined to the oven area and conveyer belts feeding the system.
Fire prevention was requested and are currently working with the building supervisor to return the fire suppression systems to a working status and get the remaining unaffected areas operational.
No injuries reported.
