The fire is now 100% contained. Fire resources will remain on the scene throughout the day working hotspots.

The fire has zero containment. Still an active structure threat with embers falling into the vicinity of Ladera Lane, Beacon Way and Indian Hill Road. Evacuations are still in place.

ORIGINAL REPORT, 11:40 A.M.
Dexter Incident: Nineteen apparatus, along with eight support staff members, are currently working the vegetation fire in the Indian Hill, Ladera, and Dexter area of Downtown Riverside. An evacuation center has been set up at the Dales Senior Center, located at 3936 Chestnut. There have been no reports of damage to any structures, nor are there any reports of injuries or smoke inhalation issues. The size of the fire has not yet been determined. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
