Current Situation

The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the 11400 block of Dorset. The first arriving unit reported working fire conditions at an RV trailer next to a single-story house. Fire department crews initiated fire attack on the RV/trailer confirming a fire involving an appliance and extending within the RV. Follow up reporting indicated no fire extension into the residence and the occupants had safely exited prior to the arrival of fire units.  The incident took 17 firefighters 1 hour to achieve a knock down, overhaul, and a cause and origin investigation.  Battalion 2 Richmond was in command of the Dorset Incident.  There were no reported civilian or firefighter injuries.
