Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at the now closed Tremors Sports Bar & Grill. Upon arrival the first in engine company reported moderate smoke in the area behind the Dynasty Hotel. Upon further investigation the fire was located at Tremors with smoke and fire coming from the bravo side of the structure. After making access to the boarded up structure crews were able to knock down the fire and keep it isolated to one room of the building. No one was injured as a result of the fire. An investigation was conducted as to the cause and origin of the fire but it is undetermined at this time. It should be noted that several homeless people had been living inside the property at the time of the incident but no one was around when fire crews arrived on scene. A private company was requested to board up the structure for security purposes. No "responsible party" had been located or on file through fire dispatch.
