Current Situation

The City of Riverside Fire Department is currently on scene of a residential structure fire in the 3600 Block of Gay Way.   The initial report from the first arriving engine company was a working attic fire that was wind driven.  As the incident progresses the roof started to sag and become weakened.  The Incident Commander relocated all personnel out of the structure into a defensive operation.  The roof has collapsed on a corner of the structure.  All personnel are safe and accounted for.  The commitment time is estimated to be 3 hours with the first alarm assignment plus an additional engine company along with the Breathing Support.
