Current Situation
The Riverside City Fire Department responded to a report of a medical aid for a subject located on Hole Mountain above Doty Trust Park. The initial arriving company officer confirmed the location of the patient to be at the top of the hill near the cross and complaining of symptoms of dehydration. Requested resources included the technical rescue team and ATV 3. RPD’s AIR 1 was also in the area and confirm the location of the patient and provided Intel on extrication. Battalion 2 Richmond arrived establishing the Golden IC and a rescue group was established. The incident took a coordinated effort by a ATV3 making access from the west side of the mountain to assist in patient care and loading of the patient. Ultimately the removal of the patient was achieved in coordination with AIR 1. The patient was safely transferred to the care of AMR for continued care and transport under EMS.
