    Final Update:

On August 4th, 2023, at 9:22 AM, the City of Riverside Fire Department arrived at a structure fire on Halsey Place. Crews quickly confirmed all occupants were safe and initiated a defensive fire attack to contain the blaze's origin. The fire was limited to the main fire occupancy without harming neighboring structures. The Riverside Police Department managed traffic, while Riverside Public Utilities and Southern California Gas Company secured utilities. Arson Investigators identified the garage as the origin but couldn't determine the cause due to extensive damage. The Red Cross assisted four displaced occupants, and fortunately, no injuries were reported among firefighters or civilians. Roughly 60% of the structure was destroyed, resulting in an estimated loss of $297,720 for the building and $90,000 for possessions.
