(Recent updates are posted at the top of the Current Situation)

The City of Riverside Fire Department arrived on scene of a residential structure fire at the 8800 block of Holly Lane to find the garage fully involved with fire.  Four occupants were safely evacuated prior to the arrival of fire crews. An aggressive exterior/interior attack was made, and the fire was kept to the garage and a small portion of the attic space.  A cause and origin investigation was completed and there were no reported civilian or firefighter injuries.  At the conclusion of the incident the house utilities would remain secured, and the property released back to the owner.  Four persons were displaced because of the structure fire. Battalion Chief Richmond was in command of the Holly Incident.
