Current Situation

On 9/22/2025, at 1458 hours, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 5600 block of Ivanhoe.  The first arriving unit discovered a working fire to the rear of a single-family home.  Upon investigation, the crew identified a motorhome on fire with direct fire exposure to a shed, a fence, and power lines.  Crew members performed an aggressive attack on the fire and contained the fire to the motorhome and fence.  The main home was undamaged.  The cause of the fire is currently under investigation and there were no injuries to firefighters or the public.  Riverside Public Utilities responded to evaluate the damaged power lines.
