Current Situation
On Sunday, July 19, 2020 at 7:16 a.m., The City of Riverside Fire Department responded a single engine company to a box alarm the Prudential Overall Supply located at 6997 Jurupa Ave. The engine company upon arrival discovered light smoke coming from the building and a working fire in the warehouse held in check by the fire sprinkler system. The assignment was upgraded to a first alarm assignment.
The fire is knocked down and crews are on scene overhauling. Crews are working on ventilating, shutting down the sprinkler system and extensive mop-up.
Battalion 2 is the Jurupa Incident Commander.
Station coverage has taken place with move-ups.
There are no firefighter or civilian injuries.
