Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department has responded to a reported automobile vs. pedestrian at the intersection of Jurupa Ave. and Essex St. in the City of Riverside. The arriving fire department unit reported a single person down in the roadway. The patient was found to be non-viable. The scene was released to the Riverside Police Department who are actively investigating the scene. Subsequently Jurupa is closed to all traffic between Essex and Florence on Jurupa until the investigation is complete.
