Current Situation

On June 5, 2025, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the 4600 block of Kansas Ave.  The first arriving unit reported light smoke coming from a medium s story house.  Fire department crews made an aggressive attack on the fire were able to keep it contained to the room of origin.  There was one resident on scene that required medical attention for smoke inhalation.  The patient was evaluated but declined transport to the hospital.  The cause of the fire was undetermined and remains under investigation.  There were not any firefighter injuries reported.
