Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a request for mutual aid on the 1600 block of Limerick Street in Home Gardens at approximately 4:16 PM. The request was made for Engine 12 and Breathing Support 5, Battalion 2 also responded as an agency representative. The assistance was needed for a large two story single family home. The fire originated in the garage of the home but quickly spread to the attic and multiple concealed void spaces. The fire was brought under control at approximately 6:45 PM with the last Riverside unit released at 8:15 PM.
