    At 2200 Hours on 11/25/2022, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in the area of Lively St.  The first arriving unit found heavy fire showing from the front of a small, single-story home.  Bystanders on scene reported an elderly male lived alone in the residence.  Crews conducted a primary search while aggressively attacking the fire.  The elderly male was located lying on the ground just outside of a rear door.  He had critical burn injuries and was quickly moved to the front of the home and evaluated by fire department paramedics.  AMR was requested and the patient was transported by ambulance to a local burn unit.  Crews continued to manage the fire and it was placed under control in 20 minutes.   Fire arson investigators arrived and conducted an investigation.  The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.  There were no firefighter injuries.
