Current Situation

The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at the7700 block of Magnolia. The first arriving unit reported working fire conditions in a second story apartment. Fire department crews initiated fire attack and primary search in the main fire occupancy. The adjacent apartments and attic spaces were also checked for fire extension confirming that the fire was contained to the room or origin. The incident took 15 firefighters to achieve a quick knock down, overhaul, and complete salvage operations. The fire in under investigation and personnel were committed for approximately 2 hours.  Battalion 2 Richmond was in command of the Magnolia Incident.  There were no reported injuries to firefighters or civilians.
