(Recent updates are posted at the top of the Current Situation)

AT 1737 on May 5th, 2023, the City of Riverside Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire near a building at 10590 Magnolia Avenue.  The first arriving engine company found a truck well involved with fire approximately 3 feet from a commercial strip mall.  The fire had extended to the facade of the building.  Fire crews rapidly deployed an attack hose line and were able to keep the fire from extending into the attic portion of the structure.  The fire was brought under control at 1750 hours, and the cause was undetermined after investigation.  There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.  Care of the building was turned over to the property management.
