    Current Situation

(Recent updates are posted at the top of the Current Situation)

The City of Riverside Fire Department is currently on scene of a medical aid involving a person in crisis in the 3500 block of Market Street.  There is an individual threatening to jump from an elevated position at that location.  Firefighters have deployed the department's inflatable jump pillow at that location.  This is the only one of its kind in the inland region.  The Riverside Police Department has their crisis negotiators on scene as well attempting to resolve the situation.
