Current Situation
On March 5, 2025, The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the 3500 block of McKinley St. The first arriving unit arrived and reported a well involved structure fire in a small, detached garage. McKinley command was established, and fire crews quickly extinguished the fire. The first arriving crew also confirmed with the property owner that nobody was inside the building. Additional crews arrived and protected an exposure, the property owner’s house, and kept the fire contained to the garage. A fire department investigator arrived and investigated the cause and origin of the fire. The cause of the fire was undetermined after the investigation. Once civilian received minor injuries but did not require ambulance transport. There were not any firefighter injuries reported.
