Current Situation
On April 29th, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to as structure fire at the 6400 block of Nidever Ave. The first arriving crew reported a working fire in a small two-story house with heavy fire coming from a window. Fire department crews made an aggressive attack on the fire and contain the fire to the house, the fire extended from the first floor up to the second floor and attic space. A primary search was completed, and it was determined that the only occupant was outside the house with injuries. The occupant was evaluated and declined transport to the hospital. Fire department arson investigators determined the cause to be undetermined but most likely due to an overloaded electrical circuit. There were not any firefighter injuries reported.
