    Current Situation

    The City of Riverside Heavy Animal Rescue Team (HART) was requested to assist Cal-Fire and Riverside County Sherriff’s Department with a horse rescue in the area of French Valley.  The HART team responded and was able to harness the animal to be short hauled by RSO Aviation Unit.  The operation was successful with no injuries to any fire personnel and the animal has survived the incident and is resting with the owner.
