Current Situation
At 1120 Hours, on 11/7/2026, the City of Riverside Fire Department was dispatched to a reported vegetation fire in the area of Orange St and Placentia Ln. The first arriving engine located 3 separate fires burning in an empty field on the former AB Brown soccer complex. One large spot fire was accessed from Garner St while the smaller two fires were accessed from Placentia. 4 engine companies and 1 brush engine worked together to mitigate the incident. The combined size of all three fires was just over .75 acres. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. There were no injuries reported to firefighters and no infrastructure was damaged.
