    On Sunday September 5, 2021 at 8:09 p.m., The City of Riverside Fire Department responded a structure fire first alarm response to the 8000 block of Orchard Park Drive for reports of a residential structure fire with a vegetation fire.  Riverside County CAL-Fire sent a response vegetation response as well.  The first due engine company arrived on scene and reported no structure fire, however, a well established vegetation fire located behind the homes in Riverside County in the MARCH JPA.

    The City of Riverside and Riverside County CAL-Fire went into Unified Command and held the fire to two acres.  Riverside County CAL-Fire is the lead agency for the investigation.  There were no firefighter or civilian injuries and no damage to residential houses.
