Current Situation
At 1845 hours on July 28, 2026, the City of Riverside Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire that originated in the garage and extended into the residence. The first-arriving unit encountered heavy smoke and fire coming from the two-story home. Firefighters made entry into the residence and were able to stop the spread of the fire. The homeowner sustained an injury and was treated at the scene. Building and Safety was notified and will respond to red-tag the home. Four adults and four children were displaced, and the American Red Cross was contacted to assist. A SAVE card was also provided to the family.
