Current Situation

The Riverside Fire Department to a vegetation fire in the river bottom below Carlingford.  Crews arrived on scene in the area and found two palm trees and approximately 1/8 acre burning with a slow rate of spread.  The fire was contained at the1/8 of an acre.  The cause of the fire was undetermined but most likely human caused and related to the encampments in the area.  There were not any civilian or firefighter injuries reported.
