The City of Riverside Fire Department responded in the early morning hours to a report of vegetation fire in the area of Wilderness and Jurupa within the Santan Ana river bottom area. The first arriving Company Officer found one quarter acre of heavy brush and palm trees on fire.  Three City of Riverside Fire units and one Cal Fire unit quickly contained the fire between the river and the bike path.
