Current Situation
On November 13, 2025, at 2:44 a.m., The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to the Old Boy Scout Camp for a vegetation fire. A civilian helicopter pilot observed the fire in the Scout Camp and called 911. There were no other reporting parties. Firefighters arrived to discover a 1/3 of an acre burning. Firefighters had difficult access due to the location of the fire. A brush truck responded to the incident to assist.
The fire originated at a homeless camp. There were no witnesses on scene or subjects. There were no firefighter injuries.
