Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported semi-truck on fire on the Westbound 91 Freeway at La Sierra. The first arriving unit found a semi-trailer hauling garbage with the contents well involved. Units quickly contained the fire to the trailer and deployed an aerial master stream to bring the fire under control. The trailer was relocated to Diana Street and off loaded on to the street to be fully extinguished. The trucking company responded out to scene and hauled off all the garbage and fire debris. There were no reports of damage or injuries. Battalion 2 Greg White was the Freeway Incident Commander.
