    FINAL -

    The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of a mobile home fire. Upon arrival, the 1st in unit found a doublewide mobile home that was well involved in fire . Crews made an aggressive fire attack and was able to stop the fire from spreading throughout the whole residence. However, the mobile home sustained major fire damage and extensive smoke damage. All occupants were out of the home and accounted for upon arrival. The fire investigation revealed that one of the occupants of the residence was burning a candles in the bathroom. There appeared to be pack rat conditions inside the residence which contributed to the ignition of the fire from the candle. After the home was overhauled the residence was returned back to the homeowner.

    Red Cross was advised and contacted the homeowner for two adults and one dog.

    A save card was issued to the homeowner for incidentals.

    All RFD units cleared the call without further incident.

     

    On Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 6:48 p.m., The City of Riverside Fire Department has responded a first alarm assignment to the Sierra Pines Mobile Home Park for a double wide mobile home fire.  Firefighters are currently engaged in fire attack.  Battalion 2 is the Incident Commander.  Station move-up’s of taken place.
