Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported Structure Fire on the 6400 block of Sycamore Canyon Rd. The first units on scene reported heavy black smoke issuing from the rear of the building. Upon further investigation it was learned that approximately 100 pallets of medical gloves were involved in fire. The fire was threatening the building and a semi-trailer when fire crews first arrived prompting a second alarm being requested. Multiple hose lines were deployed keeping the fire out of the structure and saving the trailer with minor damage sustained. Riverside Fire Investigations was requested and are actively working the case as the cause of the fire appeared to be suspicious in nature.
