Current Situation

On August 21, 2025, the Riverside Fire Department responded to a vegetation for reported near the 215 freeway, and Alessandro off ramp.  Fire crews arrived in the area and found a 60’ by 60’ fire burning in a drainage area, inside a business park.   Three fire units were able to access the fire quickly and made an aggressive attack, keeping the it contained to the 60’ by 60’ area.  The cause of the fire was undetermined but most likely related to the numerous encampments found in and surrounding the fire.  There were not any civilian or firefighter injuries reported
