Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of multiple gunshot victims in the area of Town and Country Dr and Skylark Dr, near La Sierra Ave. Riverside Police Department arrived first, and cleared fire units into the scene once it was safe. The first arriving engine found 6 total victims, 4 suffering from gunshots, and 2 who had stab wounds. Additional ALS engines were requested, as well as additional ambulances. Victims were rapidly triaged and treated by fire paramedics and transported off scene as ambulances arrived. The details of the incident are under investigation by Riverside Police. There were no injuries to firefighters.
