    Final Update

At 3:30 PM on May 2nd, the Riverside Fire Department promptly responded to a vehicle fire reported in a residential front yard. Upon arrival, the fire crews discovered a fully engulfed vehicle blaze that had spread to an adjacent travel trailer and the primary residential structure. The crew swiftly initiated an aggressive fire attack, successfully extinguishing the fire, albeit with substantial damage to both the vehicle and travel trailer. The home sustained only minor smoke and fire damage, and no civilians or firefighters were injured. Presently, the Fire Arson Investigators, working alongside the Riverside Police Department, are actively investigating the incident to determine the cause and any potential suspects.

    Initial Update

The City of Riverside Fire Department is currently on scene of a vehicle fire that has extended into a structure.  Fire Department crews arrived on scene and found a motorhome burning with extension into an adjacent structure’s attic.  The fire in the structure and motorhome have been placed under control.  A primary search has been completed to both the structure and motorhome.  No victims were found.  There are not any civillian or firefighter injuries reported.  Commitment time for resources is approximately 1 hour.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Tyler St is closed between Arlington and Kendall for approximately one hour.
