Current Situation
The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to scene of a Hazardous Materials incident near University and Iowa Ave. An unknown substance was found in a vacant office space and one civilian had a reaction that required transport by ambulance. The Riverside City Fire Haz-Mat team was requested to Haz-Cat the substance that was suspected to be chemical in nature. The team concludedd that the subsance was simply dust of some form and that the patient's medical emergency was unrelated.
