Current Situation

The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle into a structure.  The first arriving engine company found a single vehicle that drove through a block wall and through an exterior wall of a residential structure.  The technical rescue team and a battalion chief were requested to respond.  Fire crews conducted a primary search and evacuated 6 residents from the home while providing immediate treatment to the single occupant of the vehicle.  The occupant of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries and thankfully no one inside the residence was injured.  The technical rescue team evaluated the structural damage for immediate concerns.  Fire crews remained on scene until the electric vehicle was towed out of the structure.  Battalion 2 White was the Trautwein IC.
