    Updated / Final Report

    On February 21, 2023, at 4:15 P.M., the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a first alarm structure fire to the 2800 block of Westridge Street.  Upon arrival firefighters encountered a working fire with significant extension into the attic space.  Firefighters performed an aggressive fire attack containing the fire at 4:35 P.M.  A primary and secondary search was conducted with no occupants found in the home.

    There was no damage to neighboring residents.

    Fire Investigators were unable to determine the cause of the fire.

    The estimates property loss was $200,000 with a save of $350,000.

    There were no injured firefighters or civilians.  The property and utilities were secured upon conclusion of the incident.  The house is not inhabitable.

    Initial Report

    The City of Riverside Fire Department is on scene in the 2800 Block of Westridge for a residential structure fire.  The fire is under control and under investigation.  Resources will be on scene for two hours.  There are no firefighter or civilian injuries.
