    On December 31st , 2022 The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a structure fire reported on 7900 block of Woodland Dr.  The first arriving engine reported a working fire in a garage at a one-story house.  Woodland command was established, and fire department crews made an aggressive attack on the fire.  Fire department personnel completed a primary search of the residence and rescued 2 cats and a dog inside the living space of the house.  Crews were able to keep the fire contained to the garage and two adjacent bedrooms.  The cause of the fire was undetermined.  There were not any civilian injuries.  One firefighter received minor injuries.  The Red Cross is providing temporary lodging for the displaced residents.
