Community Turf Hours
The Bobby Bonds Park turf field is available for drop in community use during Riverside Unified School District school and holiday breaks.
November 23 - 25
December 21 - 24 & 28 - 31  |  9 a.m. - Noon
Outside of these designated community hours, the turf field is available by reservation only and is not open for drop in use. Turf is closed on city observed holidays.

Synthetic Turf Field Rules

  • No animals (except licensed service animals).
  • Soccer goals must be have turf wheels attached.  Other sport equipment must be lifted when moved.  No dragging allowed.
  • No motor vehicles allowed on the field surface except for maintenance or emergency.
  • No bicycles allowed on the field surface.
  • No food or drink, except water.
  • No alcoholic beverages.
  • No glass containers or aluminum cans.
  • No sunflower seeds or gum.
  • No tobacco products.
  • No fireworks or any open flame.
  • No golfing, shot putting, javelin or discus throwing.
  • No unauthorized use of model planes or rockets.
  • No painting, chalking, tape or other adhesive material shall be placed on the field surface without prior approval.
  • No stakes, spikes or other pointed materials may be used for anchoring anything on the athletic fields.

Refund Policy:

Refunds will not be granted unless class is cancelled. Credits will be issued for the amount of the course if the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is notified before the second class meeting. Exceptions – Special Events, Aquatics, Lifeguard Training, Day Camps, and After School programs, due to high demand and limited spacing, credits, transfers or refunds will not be issued.
Refunds will not be granted for Youth Sports programs, however credits will be issued if requested in writing two weeks prior to the first scheduled game.
Online registration transaction fees are non-refundable.
