UPDATE: SAND AND SANDBAGS ARE ** ONLY ** available at the City Corporation Yard (while supplies last),  8095 Lincoln (at St. Lawrence).

The City of Riverside provides free sand and sandbags to residents to help you prepare for storms. All City of Riverside Fire Department stations have empty sand bags available for pickup, while supplies last. PLEASE NOTE: Quantities may be limited due to demand. Additional bags may be available for purchase at local hardware stores.

OEM maintains a robust preparedness effort through our Community Emergency Response Team training and resident and city employee public education events. Working with partner organizations we work to identify and mitigate issues prior to an incident. OEM also coordinates the response and recovery efforts through the activation of our EOC.
