RIVERSIDE POLICE ARREST FORMER CARE FACILITY EMPLOYEE ACCUSED OF SECRETLY RECORDING STAFF

RIVERSIDE, CA – On July 9, 2026, Riverside Police Officers responded to Riverwalk Post Acute Care, located at 4000 Harrison Street, after an employee discovered a cellular phone concealed inside a single-occupancy employee restroom.

Detectives from the Riverside Police Department’s Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit assumed the investigation and conducted an extensive review of the circumstances surrounding the discovery. As part of their work, detectives obtained search warrants and collected multiple sources of digital evidence.

Investigators performed a comprehensive examination of recovered recordings, facility surveillance footage, and employment records. Through this process, detectives identified 38-year-old Williams Coronado-Morales of Riverside, a former employee of Riverwalk Post Acute Care, as the suspect responsible for the concealed device.

As the investigation progressed, detectives identified a total of seven victims who were recorded without their consent. The investigation remains ongoing, and investigators continue to analyze evidence and pursue additional leads to determine whether other victims may exist.

On September 8, 2026, Coronado-Morales was located in the City of Riverside and taken into custody. He was booked on seven counts of Invasion of Privacy, and his bail was set at $5,000.
