RIVERSIDE POLICE AND NAACP YOUTH COUNCIL PRESENT “BREAKING BREAD TOGETHER”
Riverside, CA – Chief of Police Larry Gonzalez and members of the Riverside Police Department are joining the Riverside NAACP Youth Council for “Breaking Bread Together,” a webinar series consisting of dialogue between the African-American youth and Riverside Police Officers.
“The opportunity to engage with our local youth is not only so important right now,” stated Chief Gonzalez, “but necessary for our relationships within the various Riverside communities to keep growing.”
Taking place this Friday, May 21, 2021 at 12:00 p.m., you can register for this online event at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_MBmnvS2MTbOADFaoQaYbjQ. The theme is “it’s hard to remain enemies when you’ve broken bread together.”
Sharron Lewis Campbell, 1st Vice President of the Riverside NAACP said “Breaking Bread Together gives our youth and police officers an opportunity to have a series of open-ended conversations which will provide a space for them to find answers to their questions.”
