Help Send RYJC Adaptive Team To The Olympics!

Please help us get Heidi, Kevin, and Meilene to the Judo Special Olympics tournament in Sarajevo in September 2026!!!

This will be the first U.S. Judo Team to ever complete at a Special Olympics event. The U.S. Special Olympics Committee has never fielded a judo team. The Riverside Youth Judo Club has a very strong standing in the Pan American Judo Confederation (PJC) and the International Judo Federation (IJF). As a result of this relationship, we were “directly” invited to the event by our internationals partners!

Each of our awesome competitors are Intellectually Disabled (ID). Two are also hearing impaired and profoundly deaf. All three are also on the Autism Spectrum (ASD). Judo has allowed them to participate in a worldwide sport and compete at an International Level!!! Each of them has grown tremendously because of our judo program. We are also sending a coach and a therapist to assist with the team.

The plane tickets are very expensive, and we will stay at the host hotel for the event. Any donations will be extremely appreciated. Click on the button below to support the team!
