Heritage House Gift Shop

The Heritage House Gift Shop offers a wonderful selection of books and merchandise that reflect the time the house was constructed – the 1890s. The Gift Shop is open during normal house hours and during special events.

Books for adults

Topics include Victorian architecture, customs, and clothing; steamships, automobiles, airplanes, and local history; and old-time cookbooks

For adults, citrus foods are available (Mrs. Bettner ran a citrus business from her home), along with stationery, soaps, china, and jewelry.

Heritage House memorabilia are also for sale, such as Christmas ornaments, notecards, postcards, magnets, thimbles, pin cushions, mints, and tiles.

Children’s Corner

Find gifts for children as well as adults. Examples of turn-of-the-20th-century toys include dominoes, sock monkeys, jacks, and marbles, as well as coloring books and paper-doll books.

The books selected for children include those written during the time when the house was built.
