Eric M. Solander Youth & Family Resource Center and C.H.E.E.R. Center
Within the Solander Center is a Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Office and Arlanza Child Development Center. The WIC Office provides nutrition services and parent education for expectant mothers and children 5 and under. The Arlanza Child Development Center provides children 3 - 5 years of age affordable preschool. Parenting classes, family counseling, ESL (English as a Second Language),WIC Immunization and Childcare licensing classes are also provided.
The Arlanza Community Partnership, a multi-disciplinary collaborative, invites public, private, and community leaders and neighbors to participate in their monthly meetings, held the first Wednesday of odd months at noon.

Children's Health, Education, Enrichment and Resource (C.H.E.E.R.) Center
The Riverside Unified School District’s Family Resource Center satellite office is located in the C.H.E.E.R. Center, located at Bobby Bonds Park. In addition to the Family Resource Center, the C.H.E.E.R. center houses the Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) Zone and Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention (NEOP) grant-funded programs, and a Time for Tots program.
The Family Resource Center Satellite serves as a one-stop place where parents can gather, create connections with peers and community, and receive a variety of education and family support services including parenting classes, support groups, community resources and referrals, family literacy, and assistance with the RUSD Parent Portal (AERIES) and the free and Reduced Lunch Applications.
