The Story We Tell - Photo Contest

Eligible photos: Only photos taken within official park locations listed on page 62 of the PRCSD Activity Guide will be considered and judged.

How to submit: Entries must be submitted through the official photo contest form linked from TheStoryWeTell.org to be considered.

All participants are expected to uphold appropriate conduct throughout their involvement in the photo contest, whether actively participating, spectating, or attending any associated programs or activities organized or endorsed by the City of Riverside Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department.

The following guidelines are established to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants:

• Show respect towards fellow participants and program staff.
• Adhere to directions provided by program staff and supervisors.
• Avoid using abusive or offensive language.
• Prevent causing harm to oneself, fellow participants, or program staff/supervisors.
• Avoid damaging equipment, supplies, and facilities.
• Refrain from any form of harassment towards staff, instructors, or fellow participants.

All participants are expected to reflect these core values in their words and conduct toward members of marginalized communities, including (but not limited to) the LGBTQ+ and special needs communities. All participants shall have the opportunity to participate in a healthy, supervised, safe and controlled environment.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines may lead to the denial of privileges related to participating in the photo contest. The City of Riverside Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department is dedicated to making your involvement in the contest enjoyable, rewarding, educational, and, above all, safe.
