Recreation Cheer Academy
This program introduces youth ages 5 - 17 to the fundamentals of cheerleading. Participants learn routines, stunts and lifts. Cheer teams perform at events and parades throughout the year. Practices are held twice a week at your local community center. Note: Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes to practice. Registration fee includes a t-shirt at your first time of registration. Shirt will not be provided at every sign up. Additional fees may apply for uniforms or costumes. Classes are not held on City observed holidays. Class days and times are subject to change.
Recreation Dance Academy
Youth ages 5 - 17 are welcome to join a fun and exciting dance class. Routines include hip hop, jazz and lyrical movement. Participants perform at park events and parades. Recreation Ballet Academy
Youth ages 4 - 12 learn basic ballet moves, steps, and positions
K-Pop Dance Class
K-Pop dance class emphasizes choreography in the style of modern Korean Pop music. Participants ages 7 - 17 learn basic fundamentals of hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary dance and may perform routines at a variety of City-wide events throughout the year. Note: Please wear comfortable attire and shoes. Classes are not held on City observed holidays
