Riverside Voters Now Can Apply Online for Spots on Boards and Commissions

Advisory groups help shape policy decisions by Riverside City Council

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The City of Riverside is making it easier than ever to apply for membership on one of its 15 advisory boards and commissions.

Applications now can be made online -- https://riversideca.gov/city_clerk/commissions.asp -- for a position on one of the volunteer groups that advise the City Council on policy matters. The website also includes a video explaining how boards and commissions work and describing the duties of each.

Each board or commission has at least one member from each of the seven City Council wards, and two citywide seats. Applications are accepted all year.

Visit the new convenient online portal to view any of the current vacancies or file for a future vacancy.

For further information, contact the City Clerk’s Office at 951-826-5557.
