Air Resources Board Building Development Work

Where: Iowa Avenue between University and Martin Luther King:

  • Street widening (Public Works) and utility undergrounding work will be start in late spring.
  • Working hours for building construction are from 8:30am to 3:00 pm – Monday through Friday.
  • Part of Iowa will be shut down during those hours with a detour in place intermittently as work continues through June to accommodate the Air Resources Board Building construction.

Where: Royal Palm Blvd, Rancho Riverside Mobile Home Park

  • Replacing aged 6-inch and 8-inch cement water pipeline
  • Construction will include:
    • Relocating Rancho Riverside Mobile Home Park water meter to public right-of-way.
    • Installation of approximately 500 linear feet total of pipeline
    • 7 water services
    • 1 fire hydrants
    • 3 system connections
    • Abandoning approximately 10,070 linear feet of aged pipeline located along an easement
    • Trench repaving
  • New installations will improve system reliability and improve fire flow capacity.
  • Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
